Biographical Notes
Aged about 19; lost his father on HMS Hood in May 1941.
These crosses were placed in the memorial field at Cardiff Castle on 11th November 2016 in memory of Alun Nevett’s uncle Arthur Nevett (HMS Dunedin) and his grandfather Arthur Leslie Nevett (HMS Hood).
Both remembered with pride.
Arthur Nevett is one of these Boys (see photo below) at the training establishment HMS St Vincent, Gosport.
