Members of the HMS Dunedin Society gathered at the Portsmouth Naval Memorial on Southsea Common on Sunday 23rd November to pay tribute to the men of HMS Dunedin. Despite a chilly wind, the weather was kinder than last year and, thankfully, chose to stay dry. In a short remembrance service, thirty-nine members of the Society paid their respects to the 419 men who lost their lives after HMS Dunedin was struck by two torpedoes on 24th November 1941. They also remembered the sixty-seven survivors, none of whom are with us anymore.

With thanks to Michael Gill, here is a collection of photos he took during the service.
