Able Seaman Raymond Jack Beauchamp (P/JX 158155) was born in Portsmouth on November 2nd 1922, the only son of Jack and Agnes Beauchamp (née Harding). His father served as a stoker in the Royal Navy from 1916 to 1938 and from 1940 to 1945.
