Peter Loreth Coxwell Able Seaman (D/SSX 31876) was born in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia on March 11th 1922. He was the son of George Loreth Coxwell and his wife Norah Kathleen Potter.
According to an interview with Able Seaman Ronald Shinn (who survived the sinking) conducted at the Royal Naval barracks on 24th December 1941, Peter Coxwell lost his life on one of the rafts on 24th November.
