Denton, WE Shipwright 5th class, MPK

William Edwin Denton, Shipwright 5^th Class (P/MX 78561), was born in Newport, Isle of Wight on January 13^th 1921. He was the only son of Edwin Denton, a grocer’s assistant and his wife Alice Denton, née Kersey. Before enlisting, William was an apprentice boat builder.
