Biographical Notes
Age 21. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Watkins of Tooting, Surrey; twin brother of John Watkins who was also lost when Dunedin went down. Thanks go to Helen Loader for the photographs of John and George. Her husband Simon’s grandmother, Martha, was the twins’ older sister. The family does not know which twin was which, but the photo with three boys includes the twins’ younger brother Alfred.
